Simple and classic doesn’t have to mean boring! I love this simple invitation design with a little wink with the goat illustration. A classic color palette and simple details set the tone for this Rhode Island wedding.

Classic Navy Rhode Island Wedding Invitation

For Lauren and Michael’s wedding, we started with a fun save the date wedding map. We highlighted all the beautiful locations on the property of their wedding venue at the spectacular Mount Hope Farm in Rhode Island. The barn, Bradford house and Cove Cabin, plus their ceremony and reception tent, were illustrated and highlighted with pops of watercolor. We accented the wedding map with watercolor to highlight Mt. Hope Bay. The little tree illustrations and goat drawings gave the map a little extra personality.

We then brought that personality in to their wedding invitations. We kept their invitations simple and classic, using our Amelie design, and gave it a personalized touch but repurposing the goat illustrations. We used classic calligraphy, a little leaf detail and a a navy color palette perfect for a Rhode Island New England wedding.

Instead of reply cards, they opted for a small details card requesting guests to RSVP on their website.

We tied it all together with light blue envelopes and twine.
