I’m the owner and hands behind Bright Room Studio, a boutique design studio specializing in custom invitations and paper goods, hand-lettered pieces, watercolor art and more. Bright Room Studio was started in a sunny second floor room in our home, inspiring the name and many of our creations. I love collaborating with clients to help them create their perfect invitations. New unique materials, creative ideas, wild inspiration and fun colors inspire me, but I also love perfecting a simple and classic design. I believe that art should make people happy, and my goal is always for the design process to be fun for everyone!

I married my high school sweetheart after almost 10 years of dating at a spectacular home and winery in Sebastapol, California, so I have a soft spot for great love stories and wine country weddings. When I’m not designing, I’m hanging out with my son Otis, drinking coffee (lots of coffee!), taking walks around our Oakland neighborhood or catching up on shows with my husband.
