A gorgeous blue palette, illustrated details personal to the bride and groom, a sweet monogram and fun map made this suite feel sophisticated, fun and special.
We started with a simple wedding map, printed in navy letterpress. The map featured locations important to the couple (where they met, where they get engaged) plus the ceremony and reception locations, and was paired with simple modern calligraphy. For the invitation, we used a thistle to represent the groom’s Scottish roots and an olive branch to represent that bride’s Greek heritage. We created a modern corner detail with the leaf details, then letterpress printed the graphic along with calligraphy and a simple font in a deep navy.
We then used the same thistle and olive branch to create a simple and modern wedding monogram, with a wreath surrounding their initials. We used the unique monogram as a sweet details tag and for their thank you note cards. The tag was wrapped around the square invitation with a lovely silk ribbon.
